Resumen
The Response Strategy outlined in this Donor Appeal will scale-up ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic, address the new challenges of emerging variants, and strengthen the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out. US$ 239 million is needed to support critical response efforts the between January 1st and December 31st, 2021. PAHO´s response for 2021 builds up on the knowledge acquired about the virus and lessons learned over the last year to tackle persistent and newly arising challenges and priorities at national, subnational and regional levels.
