This new video is concerned with the effects of smoking in the workplace as a cause of ill health amongh both smokers and non smokers, as a cause of pollution, and as a possible cause of serious accidents Tobacco use is responsible for several debilitating and often terminal diseases such as cancer, chronic lung diseases and diseases of the cardiovascular system. The workplace is also a source of health hazards that can cause disease and early death in many occupations. Smoking and workplace hazards cannot be separated nor considered in isolation because there are many detrimental health effects that arise from either a combination or an interaction of the two Smoke not only injures the health of smokers it also leads to ill health among those who are subjected to passive smoking from having to work in situations where they continually inhale a smoke atmosphere; as is the case for many office workers
