[Introduction]. This document chronicles the ‘regional’ achievements of the Institute over the last decade and provides (1) broad accountability of our technical cooperation mandate (2) an evaluation of our efforts based on results, and importantly (c) critical insights into the complexity of implementing programs on Food and Nutrition in the region. These achievements are based on our mission “to cooperate technically with member countries to strengthen their ability to analyze, manage and prevent the key nutritional problems and to enhance the quality of the life of the people through the promotion of good nutrition and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
