[WEEKLY SUMMARY]. Regional Situation: Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) and Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) activity has shown a general
downward trend in recent weeks, except in North America, where a slight increase in ILI cases has been observed. In this
region, most positive cases have been associated with SARS-CoV-2 and, to a lesser extent, influenza. In the Caribbean, Central
America, the Andean region, and the Southern Cone, most positive cases have been linked to RSV, SARS-CoV-2, and influenza.
SARS-CoV-2 activity remains high in North America and is increasing in Brazil and the Southern Cone. Influenza has shown a
general decline, though fluctuations persist in certain Caribbean countries and a slight rise is seen in some Andean and
Southern Cone countries. RSV activity has begun to decrease in the Andean subregion and the Southern Cone after reaching
epidemic levels in previous weeks. It remains high in some Central American countries and is on the rise in some Caribbean
and North American countries.
menor medida, a influenza.
