In the third year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2019 coronavirus continues to circulate. Despite this, the rates of hospitalizations, intensive care unit admissions, and deaths caused by the disease have been substantially reduced. In this context, the World Health Organization's Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) has considered adjusting the risk groups for vaccine administration, for which these recommendations are published.
