Abstract
This guide aims to strengthen the work of health sector communicators in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which goes beyond disseminating information. To this end, it offers recommendations and tools to inform and sensitize audiences about the importance of contact tracing and to involve communities in this process. The guide is aimed at people working in risk communication processes, community participation or health promotion initiatives related to contact tracing or contact tracing project coordinators. Its content will be useful for those working in governmental entities such as ministries of health, as well as other health sector organizations involved in the response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
