Resumo
El consumo de alcohol en la adolescencia puede alterar el crecimiento vital saludable, llevar a comportamientos poco saludables y aumentar el riesgo de sufrir trastornos relacionados con el alcohol en la edad adulta. Esta nota informativa presenta información sobre el consumo de alcohol en la población joven de la Región de las Américas y cómo ella es vulnerable a los efectos del alcohol. También destaca algunos factores que pueden incidir en el consumo y brinda recomendaciones clave para prevenir el consumo de alcohol entre los adolescentes.
