El alcohol y la violencia contra la mujer
Abstract
Esta nota descriptiva define la violencia contra la mujer y aborda los daños causados por el alcohol, incluidos los efectos de la pandemia de COVID-19. El consumo de alcohol es un factor de riesgo asociado tanto a la violencia sexual como a la infligida por la pareja. Por ello, se hace hincapié en las graves consecuencias que tienen para las mujeres los problemas asociados al consumo excesivo de bebidas alcohólicas, y se proporciona una lista concisa de cómo pueden abordarse estos daños.
