| dc.description.abstract | This fact sheet presents definition and evidence on violence against women, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the harms caused by alcohol regarding the topic. Alcohol consumption is considered as risk factor associated with sexual violence and intimate partner violence. The fact sheet highlights the consequences faced by women in alcohol-related violence and the problems with heavy drinking.
