Esta breve ficha informativa examina cinco fatos importantes sobre o consumo de álcool e suas implicações para o desenvolvimento do câncer. Os fatos referem-se a: os tipos de câncer que o uso do álcool pode causar; como esses cânceres podem ser diferentes para homens e mulheres; o nível de consumo de álcool e o grau de risco; como uma combinação de álcool e tabaco exacerba os riscos; e como os cânceres devidos ao álcool podem ser evitados, também com a ajuda de regulamentos.
