El alcohol y la salud
Abstract
En esta hoja informativa se describen los numerosos riesgos del consumo de alcohol para la salud. Además de los riesgos relacionados con las principales causas de muerte —como el cáncer, las enfermedades cardiovasculares, las enfermedades hepáticas y las lesiones—, su consumo puede causar o agravar problemas sociales, legales, médicos, domésticos, escolares, laborales y financieros. Asimismo, se muestra una imagen del cuerpo rodeada de algunos ejemplos de las más de 200 afecciones relacionadas con el alcohol.
