| dc.description.abstract | Non-pharmaceutical measures include personal protective measures, environmental measures, social distancing measures, and travel-related measures. These considerations elaborate upon the implementation of social distancing measures and travel-related measures outlined in the WHO interim guidance documents "Critical preparedness, readiness and response actions for COVID-19" and "Responding to community spread of COVID-19," and takes in to account the WHO document "Non-pharmaceutical public health measures for mitigating the risk and impact of epidemic and pandemic influenza." At the time of this writing, countries and territories in the Region of the Americas are broadly experiencing the same transmission scenario. | en_US |
