Abstract
[Introducción]. Desde el 2012, inicio de la implementación del Sistema de Información Regional de las Leishmaniasis en la Américas (SisLeish), los países han realizado un gran esfuerzo para incluir los datos en el tiempo requerido, con fecha límite 30 de abril del año subsecuente. Uno de los indicadores de desempeño del Plan de Acción de Leishmaniasis en las Américas 2017-2022, es el número de países endémicos que reportan oportunamente los datos de leishmaniasis cutánea/mucosa y visceral a segundo nivel político administrativo en el SisLeish. En 2013, de los 17 países que reportan los datos a la OPS/OMS, el 29% incluyeron los datos hasta la fecha programada, el 18% hasta 3 meses después (30 de julio) y 53% 6 meses después (30 de octubre).
