Abstract
On 16 August 2004, the Ministry of Public Health of Uruguay reported the occurrence of three cases of Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS), all from the Department of Rocha in the area bordering on Brazil.
 
El 16 de agosto de 2004, el Ministerio de Salud Pública del Uruguay notifica la ocurrencia de tres casos del Síndrome Pulmonar por Hantavirus (SPH), procedentes del Departamento de Rocha, Uruguay.
