Information Management Offers Humanitarian Agencies Opportunity for Coordination and Exchange | For the last several years, experts have predicted that hurricane seasons will become more active and destructive. The 2004 season lived up to that prediction, but the current hurricane season has topped the record with 23 named storms. Katrina, Rita, Stan, Wilma, Alpha and Beta all left a path of destruction across the Caribbean, Central America and the U.S.
 
La gestión de la información en los organismos humanitarios: un nuevo espacio para la coordinación y el intercambio | En los últimos años los expertos han estado prediciendo que las temporadas de huracanes serán cada vez más activas y violentas. La temportada de 2004 probó estas predicciones; sin embargo, la de este año batió todos los récords con 23 tormentas nombradas. Katrina, Rita, Stan, Wilma, Alfa y Beta dejaron destrucción a su paso por el Caribe, Centroamérica y los Estados Unidos.
