Since beginning of the year up to 16 February 2009 (Epidemiological Week No. 1 to 6) the following have been reported: 19,590 cases of suspected dengue fever, 2238 cases of classic dengue fever, 66 suspected cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF), 9 deaths (including 1 study), Fatality rate: 13.6%, Identified serotypes: DEN 1 and DEN 3
