As in the previous epidemiological alerts, the information presented here, which integrates data obtained by the partners of the Health Cluster, has been provided by the Ministère de la Santé Publique et de la Population (MSPP), From epidemiological week (EW) 422 to EW 483, the MSPP reported at the national level a total of 93,222 cholera cases4, of which 47.4% (44,157) were hospitalized and 2,120 died (1,459 at the health services level and 661 at the community level). The in-hospital case fatality rate as of EW 48 is 3.3% and the overall case fatality rate is 2.3%. Como en las alertas epidemiológicas anteriores, la información que aquí se presenta es la proporcionada por el Ministère de la Sante Publique et de la Population (MSPP) en la cual se integra los datos obtenidos por los diferentes socios del Grupo de Acción Sanitaria. Desde la Semana Epidemiológica (SE) 422 y hasta la SE 483, el MSPP registró a nivel de todo el país un total de 93.222 casos de cólera4, de los cuales un 47,4 % (44.157) han sido hospitalizados y 2.120 fallecieron (1.459 a nivel de los servicios de salud y 661 a nivel de la comunidad). La tasa de letalidad hospitalaria, hasta la SE 48, es de 3.3% y la tasa de letalidad global de 2.3%.
