In epidemiological week (EW) 421, the Ministere de la Sante Publique et of the Population (MSPP) of Haiti reported the laboratorial confirmation of the first cholera cases in Haiti after Vibrio cholerae O:1 serotype Ogawa was isolated in samples from hospitalized patients in the department of Artibonite. From then to EW 462, the MSPP has reported on its web page a total of 60,240 hospital visits, 25,248 hospitalizations, and 1,415 deaths due to cholera3 at the national level. By EW 46, the MSPP had already recorded cholera cases in all 10 Haitian departments. En la Semana Epidemiológica (SE) 421 el Ministere de la Sante Publique et de la Population (MSPP) informó sobre la confirmación laboratorial de los primeros casos de cólera a partir del aislamiento de Vibrio cholerae O:1 serotipo Ogawa en pacientes hospitalizados en el departamento de Artibonite. Desde entonces y hasta la SE 462 el MSPP notificó a través de su página web un total de 60.240 atenciones médicas, 25.248 hospitalizaciones y 1.415 defunciones por cólera3 a nivel de todo el país. Para el final de la SE 46 los diez departamentos de Haití registran casos.
