The objective of this alert is to present the current epidemiological situation of the cholera outbreak in Haiti updated as of Epidemiological Week (EW) 8, 2011 and the Dominican Republic updated as of EW 9. The information that is presented in this alert has been provided by the Ministère de la Sante Publique et de la Population (MSPP) of Haiti and by the Dominican Republic Ministry of Health. El objetivo de esta alerta es presentar la situación epidemiológica del brote de cólera en Haití actualizada a la semana epidemiológica (SE) 8 del 2011 y en República Dominicana actualizada a la SE 9. La información que se presenta ha sido proporcionada por el Ministère de la Sante Publique et de la Population (MSPP) de Haití y por el Ministerio de Salud de República Dominicana, respectivamente.
