In Haiti, from the beginning of the epidemic to 9 July 2012, the total of cholera cases reached 579,014, of which 313,226 (54%) were hospitalized and 7,418 died. The global case-fatality rate is 1.3% and the hospitalized case-fatality rate is 1.5%. From epidemiological week (EW) 15 of 2012, an increase of cases was principally recorded in the departments of Artibonite, Centre, Nord, Nord-Est and Ouest. The increase is related to the early onset of the rainy season. In the past four weeks the number of cases and hospitalizations has shown a decreasing trend. En Haití desde el inicio de la epidemia al 9 de julio de 2012, se han registrado 579.014 casos, de los cuales 313.226 (54%) fueron hospitalizados y 7.418 fallecieron. La tasa de letalidad global acumulada es de 1.3% y la tasa de letalidad hospitalaria es de 1.5%. A partir de la semana epidemiológica (SE) 15 de 2012 se registró un incremento de casos y hospitalizaciones principalmente en los departamentos de Artibonite, Centre, Nord, Nord Est y Ouest. Este incremento estuvo relacionado con el inicio temprano de la temporada de lluvias. En las últimas cuatro semanas el número de casos y hospitalizaciones registradas muestra una tendencia a la disminución
