In the Region of the Americas, over the past decade, cases of yellow fever were reported in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, and Venezuela. In 2015, only three countries in the Americas reported yellow fever virus circulation: Bolivia, Brazil, and Peru. Durante la última década en la Región de las Américas se confirmaron casos humanos de fiebre amarilla selvática en Argentina, Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Perú y Venezuela. En 2015, solo tres países han confirmado la circulación del virus: Bolivia, Brasil y Perú.
