Since last update (February 24, 2016), no additional countries/territories have reported autochthonous (locally acquired) confirmed cases of Zika virus (ZIKV) infection. Thirty-one countries / territories in the Americas have autochthonous confirmed cases of ZIKV infection. Desde la actualización anterior (24 de febrero de 2016), ningún país/territorio ha notificado casos confirmados del virus Zika (ZIKV) de transmisión autóctona (adquiridos localmente). Hasta la fecha, 31 países / territorios de las Américas confirmaron casos autóctonos de infección por ZIKV.
