Between epidemiological week (EW) 1 and EW 38 of 2016, a total of 29,630 cholera cases were reported in four countries of the Americas: the Dominican Republic (1,069), Ecuador1 (1), Haiti (28,559), and Mexico (1). Of the total cases, 96.4% were reported in Haiti. Desde la semana epidemiológica (SE) 1 del 2016 a la SE 38 de 2016, se notificaron 29.630 casos de cólera en cuatro países en las Américas: Ecuador1 (1), Haití (28.559), México (1) y la República Dominicana (1.069). De estos casos, 96.4 % corresponde a Haití.
