Abstract
Tuberculosis in the Americas 2018 provides a complete and updated assessment of the TB epidemic and progress made in treating and preventing the disease in the Region. This document was prepared in close collaboration with the team of epidemiologists from the Emilio Coni National Institute of Respiratory Diseases in Argentina, a PAHO/WHO TB Collaborating Center. This publication was made possible thanks to the support of the Office of Sustainable Development, Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean, U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) under Grant No. AID-OAA-IO-16-00.003.
