This small book is a guide for trainers of health workers on the teaching of diarrhoea prevention and treatment. A major part of the guide is devoted to discussion of Oral Rehydration Therapy. The symptoms are described, as well as treatment measures that may prevent malnutrition and save life. Other important points were emphasized including promotion of good hygiene. The role the community health worker must play in educating the community is given particular attention
