Abstract
This paper is based on the deliberations of the Technical Meeting in which IGAB consulted with experts in the medical aspects of breastfeeding as well as in policy education and community support for breastfeeding programmes. (Inter-agency Group for Action in Breastfeeding comprises representatives of WHO, UNICEF, USAID and Swedish International Development Agency-SIDA)
