Violence against women: a proposal to establish coordinated community interventions in three andean countries; progress report
Abstract
This report presents the progress made in the first six months for the project entitled "Violence against Women": a proposal to establishn coordinated community interventions in three andean countries", in keeping with the agreement signed with the government of the Netherlands on 27 April 1995. It draws upon the ground breaking work of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that have tirelessly worked on gender violence in each of the countries of project implementation, and seeks to develop strategies together with these NGOs, their representative governments and community based actors, in a manneer that will strengthen a coordinated community response to violence against women
