Abstract
The First Regional Meeting on improved DTP-Based Combination Vaccines, held in Washington, D.C., in September 1993, organized by the Regional System for Vaccines for Latin America and the Caribbean (SIREVA) of the Pan American Health Organization in cooperation with the Children's Vaccine Initiative (CVI), formulated, inter alia, the following recommendations: To improve and strengthen the capacity for quality control in all the countries of the Region through the organization of a regional network of quality control laboratories
