The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the Caribbean Court of Justice Academy of Law and Court Administration (CALCA), and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), held the High-Level Meeting on the Use of Law to Tackle Noncommunicable Diseases, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on 10 March 2018, aimed at strategizing actions to promote policy coherence and strengthen the use of law to address noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and their risk factors (RFs) in the Caribbean, with a focus on tobacco control and obesity prevention and control laws and regulations.en_US
