Abstract
This report will provide health authorities and stakeholders with information about the status of each component of the project. The five components are policy environment and health-care system, influenza-specific evidence, product development and manufacturing, product approval and regulations, and communication for influenza vaccination. The report includes a set of policy options that will reinforce and guide sustainable influenza vaccine production in Mexico. It also summarizes the discussions and key findings drawn from the interviews with the different stakeholders = El reporte provee información sobre cada componente a las autoridades nacionales y las diferentes partes involucradas. Los cinco componentes que se incluyen son: 1) ambiente político y sistema de salud; 2) evidencia específica sobre influenza; 3) desarrollo y manufactura del producto; 4) aprobación y regulación y 5) comunicación sobre vacunación contra influenza. En el reporte se incluye una serie de opciones que refuerzan y guían la producción sostenible de vacuna contra influenza en México. Además, presenta un resumen de las discusiones y hallazgos principales de las entrevistas realizadas.
