Pan American Journal of Public Health
The Pan American Journal of Public Health (PAJPH) is the flagship technical and scientific periodical of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau, which is the Secretariat of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), headquartered in Washington, D.C., United States of America. Established in 1922 as Boletín Panamericano de Sanidad, it subsequently became known as Boletín de la Oficina Sanitaria Panamericana until 1997, when it merged with its English-language counterpart, the Bulletin of the Pan American Health Organization (established in 1966), to form the multilingual publication that exists today. The RPSP/PAJPH is a peer-reviewed, open access journal, and effective 2009, is published in an electronic-only format. Full texts of all manuscripts may be accessed through this web site and other international and regional scientific databases including PubMed Central, PubMed/MEDLINE, SciELO Public Health, Web of Science, Scopus, DOAJ and LILACS.
La Revista Panamericana de Salud Pública (RPSP) es la publicación científica y técnica de la Oficina Sanitaria Panamericana, que es la Secretaría de la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (OPS), con sede en Washington, DC, Estados Unidos de América. Fundada en 1922 como Boletín Panamericano de Sanidad, adoptó el nombre de Boletín de la Oficina Sanitaria Panamericana hasta 1997, cuando se fusionó con su contraparte en idioma inglés, el Boletín de la Organización Panamericana de la Salud (creado en 1966) para formar la publicación multilingüe que existe hoy en día. La RPSP es una revista de acceso abierto con revisión de pares y a partir del 2009 se publica exclusivamente en formato electrónico. Los textos completos de los manuscritos se pueden descargar desde este sitio web y las principales bases de datos científicas internacionales y regionales, como PubMed Central, PubMed/MEDLINE, SciELO Salud Pública, Web of Science, Scopus, DOAJ y LILACS.
