Los sueros tomados de 93 caballos en ranchos nicaragüenses y las pruebas serológicas que se practicaron para detectar en ellos la presencia de anticuerpos del virus de la encefalitis equina venezolana (EEV), muestran que tales caballos pueden servir de centinelas baratos y eficaces para detectar la actividad de ese virus (AU)
